Post-surgery healing....

I'm not complaining, since it was a relatively minor surgery (cleaning scar tissue out of my rotator cuff), but it sucks that if I happen to slide a computer from one side of my office to the other (about 6 feet) and never pick it up, since I know it will hurt my shoulder... it STILL hurts, and aches for an hour or two later.....

I just want to be healed already so I can start abusing my arm like normal.... Chat Icon

Re: Post-surgery healing....

I had similar surgery in May.

They couldn't repair it since it was only 25% torn (though the MRI showed a full tear Chat Icon).

I seriously FEEL your pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't have a tear, just scar tissue built up, so I'm hoping that it will be less than 6mo-1yr. I'm hoping closer to 3-6 months.... then again, it will be two months in about a week and a half, so maybe 3mo is too soon.....

Re: Post-surgery healing....

Not my shoulder but my Knee and Hip.

I had my hip replaced and my ACL and PCL both replaced 3 years ago.......

Take it easy and reap the rewards in the end..............

Now, I ride my Bike 5 miles each way to and from work and try to do at least 35-40 on the weekend.
