String beans
3 lbs of fresh string beans with ends snipped
4 whole tomatoes quartered
2 large onions chopped
10 cloves of garlic
olive oil
salt/pepper
Put all ingredients in crock pot on low setting for 6 hours...

sweet potatoes
2 cups of mashed sweet potatoes (or yams)
1/4 cup of sugar
2 eggs beaten well
3/4 of a stick of butter
1tsp of nutmeg
1tsp of cinnamon
-Mix well and pour in to a GREASED casserole dish
-put in to a 400 degree oven for 20-30mins
TOPPING-
3/4 cup of brown sugar
3/4 stick of butter
3/4 cup of crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
-Back in the 400 degree oven for 10 mins
