potty training and traveling by air NEXT WEEK!

DD just informed me yesterday that she doesnt want to wear diapers anymore! (She is almost 2.5). great and I felt like i need to run while it while she is interested but I wasnt planning to potty train her until we are back from our trip in January. We are leaving for Ireland in a week and while we are on Day 2 of training and it is going well so far, I am worried about how I am going to handle the airport and the overnight flight with a VERY newly trained DD (assuming this is still going well by then). Any tips????

I know I would put her in a pull up. But that is just me. My girls were trained for four months and at my brother's wedding I put them in pull ups. I did't want to chance them having an accident in their flower girls dresses. They were big girls though and still asked to go potty even with the pull up on. We are flying out in Feb. to fl and I plan on doing the same thing. If they had an accident on the plane they would be sitting in pee or me for that matter. lol

ok yeah I think I will definitely go with the pullup for the flight. I have read on here alot that people dont recommend the pullups (confusing etc) but I think this is extenuating circumstances. thanks for responding and for the advice!

For the flight I would put her in underwear and a pull up on top of the underwear so she can still feel like a big girl and stick with potty training, but catch any accidents if they occur. I would also get a travel potty for the airport.

We had a very similar situtaion with my DD when she was potty training. It all happened a week before an 11 hour flight to europe. I bought a potette potty at buy buy baby and brought that with me in my carry on. I also think we put her in pull ups for the flight but I don't really remember. I know I also packed like 2-3 changes of clothes in my carry on for her.

The potty from BBB really came in handy in europe too!
