Potty training questions
So Mikayla has been in big girl underware for over a month and is doing GREAT with potty training, she has only had a few accidents (she uses the bathroom when we go to stores or to the park). We still use diapers for naps (which we will stop this weekend as she NEVER pees at naptime) and overnight
The past 3 nights, she has woken up dry. I have a few questions. When do you think it is time to put her to bed without a diaper? If I do this, should I put her potty seat in her room? (I do not want her roaming the house at night). Do most children just hold it or wake up to pee in the middle of the night?
And lastly, she still uses the potty seat, which we keep in the living room. She will occasionally use the big toilet but not on a regular basis. Is it important that I transition her to the big toilet? If so, how? Should I move the potty seat into the bathroom?

Re: Potty training questions
Ok, so I would suggest putting the potty seat in her bedroom. I plan to do this because I also don't want Ava roaming the house at night because our bedrooms are upstairs. I still have her in a pull-up at night She's been day trained for a year, but I'm home alone most nights and feel selfish and haven't wanted to get up with her. But next week we're taking away the pull-up at night. As for the potty seat, we still leave it out for Ava because the bathroom's are not conveniently located for her at this point. She does mostly use the bathroom, but I like to have the potty out still incase she needs the bathroom right away. When we're upstairs, I don't bring the potty, she just uses the bathroom, it's just downstairs that I use it because there's a big step down to the bathroom on the first floor, and I just worry in a rush she'll wipe out. I think putting the potty in the bathroom is a good idea. HTH!

Re: Potty training questions
Megan is newly potty trained.. maybe a month and a half if that long. As of two weeks ago I stopped the pull up at night. After about a week she was dry every night. I had run out of pull ups and decided to give it a whirl and see if she would be able to do it. She was fine.. no accidents and she has been pullup free at night ever since. She woke up one night in the middle of the night to go, I took her and that was that. She has done incredible! Good luck!
