Potty training-some success, some questions
So this week I decided to see if Sabrina was "ready" for potty training. She is almost 26 months and she has been showing interest in the potty but this week I have off so I decided to take the plunge.
Well, Monday she woke up dry so I ran across the hall and plopped her on the potty and she pee'd Then later on she started to poop and I carried her to the bathroom and put her on the toilet and she finished there.
The next few days I got the morning pee and sometimes another pee during the day Today was great. She went in the morning and then we were out and she asked to use the potty (yay, she asked) and she actually went on the potty in Target
BUT most of the poops still happen in her diaper. I would think she would be more aware of that and want to poop on the potty.
How do I get her to poop on the potty and how do I get all caregivers (me, DH, my parents) on the same page? So far, DH has been passing her to me whenever she asks.

Re: Potty training-some success, some questions
Well, first of all, congrats! Second...I would start putting her on the potty at regular intervals during the day. She seems ready, imo. Like, every half hour put her on the potty, or at least ask her if she has to use it. Then just tell everyone else to do the same. As for pooping in the diaper, they usually get the hang of peeing on the potty first, then pooping. If she's "regular" and goes around the same time everyday, then put her on the potty around that time. If she's not like clockwork, just ask her and reinforce that if she has to poop, she can do it on the potty as well.

Thanks! So far today has been our best day.
I also just decided to leave the bathroom for a minute to see if she has some performance anxiety
