PP & Sex......
yes I'm asking this personal question.......b/c I'm curious now.
I'm 8 weeks PP and tried to tonight and ouucccchhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't do it! I had an episiotomy and I also tore sideways...so I had two spots but it hasn't hurt me in WEEKS, I mean it's tender here and there,especially after working out but there was no way in h e l l I could've enjoyed myself tonight.
How long did it take you ladies to eh hem, enjoy yourselves again?

Is it bad that I had a c-section and we were like 10 or 11 weeks????   BFing and all night feedings were NOT getting me in the mood

no, not at all. If I was still BFing all night long, he l ls no would I have ever considered it at this point lol

We tired at 4 weeks,I also had a episiotomy. It hurt so we stopped and tired again after my 6 week check up. We did, and it got better each time after. Also not sure if you Dr told you, but ours said use lots of lube the 1st few weeks, she said it makes it s little easier. GL

i think the same that i got the all clear from my DR. 6 weeks. Lots of lube (and very slow) the first week or so. I also had an episiotomy and it didn't hurt at all- but like i said, LOTS of lube.

We had our first encounter 4 weeks PP but I had a section....We resumed our normal "habits" around 5 weeks pp

we waited about 8 weeks, and I had a Csection. it HURT and we didnt' try for another 2 weeks after that. Plus DH freaked bc he thought he would break the incision. Not fun! we had to use KY, my doc said the pain I felt was from hormones. things got better once I stopped pumping at 3.5 months

I think it took about a month of easing back into things to start feeling ok again. It was a slow process. Use lots of lubricant.

im 12 weeks and still haVent done it yet. between being tired, DH was sick off and on for a few weeks, then i was sick...forget it. its never ending in this house.
i also have this terrible fear of it hurting like a B***&

I had no problems at all after my c/s. After my VBAC, we tried the first time about 7 weeks PP & yeah, not so pleasant. I definately didn't make it all the way through. We tried again a couple of days later & it was sore, but manageable. The third time was much the same. I think by the 4th time around (so maybe 9 weeks PP?) I felt basically back to normal. I would feel a little more sore afterwards, but was otherwise perfectly fine. I didn't have an episiotomy though & I had minor tearing.

Same for me. The first time we tried after #1 was 11 weeks PP. It was not enjoyable at all. I had an episiotomy too.
After #2, I don't remember but I think it was sooner than 11 weeks.

Greatttt I plan on trying this weekend. I even shaved my entire legs for this special occasion. Poor DH hasn't gotten any in monthsss. Now I have to worry about the pain.

I had 3rd degree tears as well..... Use lots of lube. I found that for months... until about 7 months PP I could only be on top..... I can't believe I just said that
Even now at 11 months PP there are certain times I still hurt a bit

I'm 8 wks PP and nothing yet. I'm too tired and not only that but I have DD sleeping in bed with me b/c its the only way she'll sleep! If I put her ANYWHERE else she wakes up as soon as I put her down. Well DH was kicking her out of bed the other night I guess he was feeling needy lol
