I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband. Please know there are so many of us who are praying for you and your family in this most difficult time.
And I must thank you for sharing your intimate, honest, deeply touching thoughts and observations with us on your blog. You trusted us with your vulnerability and I feel I learned so much from reading your words. Your blog is a reflection of your strength and love and spirit in the most difficult time in your life. Please know that just reading it brought me to tears more than once and I was inspired by your devotion, unending love for Scott, your frank assessment of the cruel, arbitrary nature of cancer, and your amazing strength.
I have never met you, but through your blog you have taught me about loyalty, sacrifice, strength and love.

That is so horribly sad. I only just read some of the blog now and had no idea. I can't imagine what she is going through.

Lauren, I am incredibly sorry for your loss. I could not even imagine, but I have been trying to put myself in your shoes, and I have thought this....
It's okay....to just sit down in the shower and cry while the hot water beats at your back.......
It's okay to break down in the grocery store because while reaching for the shaving cream, you realize you no longer have to buy it....
It's okay if you sleep on the floor next to Logan because you don't want to sleep in your room....
It's okay to set the plate setting in his spot at the table...
It's okay to go into his closet and smell his clothes or spray his cologne on yours...
It's okay to sleep on his side of the bed....
It's okay to cry when you simply look at Logan, although he may look at you like you're a weirdo... 
It's okay to cry when Logan learns to tie his shoes and ride his bike... to cry after he gets on the school bus for the first time...
It's okay to always and forever think "I wish he was here to see this, to smell this, to hold this"...
It's okay, Lauren... No one CAN ever put themselves in your shoes, and I think that's okay too....
