Prayers Needed FINAL UPDATE 5/11/10
My sister's MIL had a stroke earlier today. I have no other information whatsoever.
Any prayers are appreciated.
***12/17 Update***
I spoke with my sister first thing this morning, so by now things could have changed. Her MIL has a brain bleed (they are calling it a hemmoragic episode). What is complicating matters, is her MIL was diagnosed with lung cancer two weeks after our mother. She & BIL found this out YESTERDAY. The lung cancer is much more advanced than my mothers, and the CAT scan is showing 2 spots on the brain that could be lesions, tumors, OR damage from the bleed.
Continued prayers are needed. Thanks everyone.

The spots on the brain are in fact cancer. Any prayers you can spare are appreciated.

*****1/13/10 Update*****
My sister's MIL has been discharged from the hospital following her stroke. She is distraught that the hospital will not keep her on as a cancer patient and has discharged her to the oncologist she was seeing before the stroke. She has convinced herself the oncologist screwed up the chemo and caused the stroke. My sister is worried she will refuse treatment as a result.
My sister is struggling to deal with her MIL's cancer, our mom's cancer (and our mom's recent fall and broken bones). Any prayers you can spare for her would be appreciated.
****2/11/2010 Update****
My sister's MIL has been given 3 months. My BIL is devastated. My sister is now reeling from the combination of this awful news, combined with the bad news about our mom (which she apparantly just found out today  ).
Any prayers you can spare for my sister and my BIL's family as they deal with this sadness is appreciated.
******3/9/2010 Update********
My sister's MIL had hospice into the house yesterday. Things are not looking good AT ALL. Any prayers you can spare for my sister and her kids (that are about to lose their grandma), as well as my BIL & his family are, as always, appreciated.

My sister's MIL passed away last night 5/10/10 She was surrounded by her husband and two of her three kids when she passed.
If you can spare a prayer for my 5 year old niece who is now dealing with the loss of her grandmother not even two months after the death of her other grandma (my mom), as well as prayers for my BIL & my sister - I would appreciate it.
