Preggo crashing...Looking for pediatrician recs in the Islip area
Okay I am totally getting ahead of myself considering I am only 10 weeks 
But I like to research and I am kind of bored waiting to go out to dinner.
I live in Islip, willing to go to East Islip, Islip Terrace, Bayshore, and a little further if they are really good.
I kind of wanted a 1 dr office not a huge practice, I like getting to know the dr and having a relationship with them. But I am not opposed to a practice if all of the drs there are good.
I want a dr that does not make a first time mom feel stupid for worrying or asking silly questions and I want someone who makes sure that all of his patients get vaccinated.

I live in Islip Terrace and we use Eisenberg Pediatrics in Sayville. Its not a far drive at all and I love Dr. Eisenberg. He is so thorough and answers any questions we have. He is the only doctor in the practice, he also and he has someone else that works with him (I can't remember if she is a nurse practioner or a physicians assistant). My only complaint is that sometimes the wait times are a little long. However, when the doctor is with you he gives you all the time you need and I have never felt rushed. I highly recommend the practice!

I was just about to write this! I love Dr. Eisenberg. Like the PP wrote, he is the only doc and works with a nurse practitioner, Nicole. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating- you will get an appt the same day if necessary. I don't usually have a problem with waiting, but it depends on what time of day/evening you go.
