Pregnancy Diet / Healthy Breakfast Options
Does anyone know of a link to a good pregnancy diet (not talking weight loss here obviously, I mean healthy eating)?
I checked out one (it was baby center, I think) and it really wasn't great - way too many sugary suggestions (banana walnut breads, muffins, etc yikes!).
I'm good with lunch and dinner, I really just need some good breakfast alternatives - I can only eat egg white omelets & sandwiches so many times per week... but I need some protein and fiber breakfast bars just don't cut it.
What do you eat for breakfast that's good on protein?

I don't know of any sites but you could check out the book, What to Expect: Eating Well When You're Expecting. There are recipes for pancakes, smoothies, oatmeal, french toast and a lot of others. There are also recipes for lunch and dinner and ideas on how to eat well.

Re: Pregnancy Diet / Healthy Breakfast Options
I eat a lot of different things for breakfast. I know it's easy to get tired of eggs after a while. I like to eat whole grain cereals like grapenuts. I also like to eat Chobani yogurt and i add blueberries and grapenuts. it's very filling a nd yummy.

I have kashi cereal (go lean)-- has tons of fiber and like 13 grams of protein, with soy milk every am. Sometimes I will just do fruit and a greek yogurt .
