Preparing For IVF (timing)
I bit the bullet. Am doing IVF with Dr. B. today is Day 3. I am on BCP for two weeks and go back June 8th. When do you think I will be doing retrieval? My mom was just diagnosed with cancer and I am trying o coordinate calendars with other family members so someone is always available.
Oh finally some good news. I need Neupogen. Cost is $5000. They said Aetna probably would not cover. However, Klaupners called and all ai owe is $65. So this means it went through with Aetna? Trying not to question it too much so I don't raise a red flag. How long a supply does Dr. B call in?

i just wanted to say it all depends
i say that bc i was supposed to be on bc for 2 weeks ended up on for 3
i stimmed longer than most bc i am a slow responder
they gave me a date of march 17 for retrieval,day before got pushed back to the 19th
basically u just do not know but i can say overall from start to finish it was a bout 6 weeks

Figure you will stim for about 10 days, on average, so your ER will be around July 16-20th. ET will be 3 or 5 days after that.

Thanks, this is helpful.
I go back July 8th after being on BCP for two weeks, so I guess 10 days-ish after that, which is around the 18th (right in your average).
We are going away (VA Beach) on August 10th for a week. Going with BIL and his family - my MIL just died a month a month ago, so we really need a vacation. I am now pretty confident it won't cut into that. Thanks!

i did use Dr B. I was on ganirelix after BCP and before stims

I stimmed for 10 days then trigger, then 2 days later retrieval.
I figured that time would go so slow, but in reality it went super quick.
