If you are a regular poster who made up a fake name so you can post what you REALLY feel about the election - that is pathetic.
If you are new, this is some introduction
And for the record, I find their careers much more important than their education. . . don't forget - for most of them school was a LOOOOONG time ago. I got my masters in 2005 and I don't remember half the stuff I learned.
McCain and Biden's careers are of much more importance to me when I am considering who I want to vote for.
What if Obama was the one who had military experience that included discipline problems and a record of crashing seven planes?

Does not change my mind at all.
What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the stage, including a three month old infant and an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter?
I am not even sure what this means? Are we not supposed to vote for someone because they had sex too many times?
I am not sure, but I think the "MILF" may be referring to the idea that had a BLACK man's teenage PREGNANT daughter been walked across the stage, America AS A WHOLE would not be so accepting.
he's be "ghetto". not a strong proponent of the right to Life.
Blah. that would just be more ignorance - what difference does it make?

Politics is serious business.
Want serious....
What if Obama was the one who was known to display publicly, on many occasions, a serious anger management problem?

obviously youre trying to the stir the pot here. instead of beating around the bush and trying to get others to do your dirty work, why dont you just come out and say what you want to say. it would save so much time and energy.

Instead of asking all of these questions just make your point instead of having everyone else make it for you.
Are you saying that there is a double standard based on race? Okay, I agree with you.
Does it matter or should it affect how any informed, intelligent people choose to vote? Nope.

Well, I would think that a politician would be able to write their own speeches and he did this more than once.
That was rude, nasty, sarcastic and immature.
I am not saying I am changing anyone's opinions, just like no one is changing mine. Just putting facts out there that the liberal media likes to sweep under the rug.
Obviously plagarism is wrong and shows a character flaw, but to be fair, i doubt any politician writes their own speeches and they certainly don't do their own cite checking.

Re: Presidential Election-Educational Background
Not going to lie.... having an educated leader is important to me. However, the schools you went to aren't the only way to show intelligence (look at Bush).
If their educational records were switched, I'd still support the same candidate because I'm basing my vote on their policies and positions on issues I care about.
Sure, it makes me feel good to know that the people I support are well-educated (at least on paper) but there are a lot more important things IMO.

Yes but the What if scenarios that you are talking about don't mean anything---like the whole "what if it was Obama who had the unwed teenage daughter who is pregnant" is NOT gonna be an issue so why bother?
There is nothing wrong with thinking--but how about you think about the canidates issues at hand and not making fantasy scenarios that have no merit

Re: Presidential Election-Educational Background
Trying to get people to think outside the box here: My FIL is one of the smartest men I've ever known. He has NO schooling past High School and "High School" was on a farm in Italy. Then, I've known people with degrees up the ying-yang and transcripts with straight A's who couldn't form a coherent sentence to save their life -- and have ZERO common sense. I guess it all depends on the person, JMHO.
