Holy Cow . I think that is alot but we always do it ourselves.
I am glad we paint ourselves. I never knew how much they charged to paint rooms. So now when I compalin I will know it is worth the savings

My DH is a painting contractor and I used to do his estimates. That price is VERY low.

I am way too cheap to pay someone to paint for me. But I hate to say it - the price he gave you sounds pretty standard from what my friends have told me. Crazy.

that is 476 sq foot
my DH - who owns a home improvements company charges about $2/sq foot so he would charge you about 950 for that job
that is a very reasonable price

i think it sounds reasonable...we had a one room (~10x10) estimate for $1000 (wallpaper removal too)
I know you are just changing the color, but I can see why the complex is making you pay the painter...it's out of their policy

$575 for two rooms doesn't sound high to me at all. Definitely not a rip off.

We paid $700 for our den. I think that's a great price !
