Progesterone Question
So, I am a VERY old poster, haven't really been on these forums since after mysecond child was born a few years back. I got a VERY bug surprise this week with a BFP! I went for a beta hcg last week (5 weeks 1 day) and I was told the following: hcg: 1700 progesterone: 7.9 I was put on progesterone suppositories but now here starts me being a nervous wreck.
Anyone with any experience with low progesterone? I had another set of labs done today. Wont know results until Monday.

Progesterone Question
yea i took crinone for a few weeks and then was able to stop. My friend was in the same boat and stopped around 8 weeks, but when she stopped she started to bleed so she went back on until approx. 13 or 14 weeks. Both resulted in healthy pregnancies!
Also, that is a great HCG! I think it'll be just fine

Thank you for answering. Do you remember your numbers at all?

With my daughter I was initially an 8. My OB at the time (I lived in FL) wanted P4 to be above 10, so I was put on 100mg (I believe) 1x a day. Had it checked a week later, and while I don't remember what that number was, my doctor was happy with the progression.
With my son, I was at a 10. The OB here in NY wasn't concerned with that, however I was. So I had my old OB send me a script for the supps while I found a new OB here. New OB agreed that 10 was borderline low and I made the right decision to get on them.
I wish you lots of luck and congratulations!!

Ok that's exactly what I started too. Thanks so much for making me feel a little better.
