Progesterone question...help please...now with question 2
Hey ladies...I hope everyone is feeling well. I have a progesterone question: I just received my results back from 10 dpo and my progesterone was 13.4 (that test was from Wednesday). They drew my blood again today. We have progesterone issues in my family and I was wondering, is that number low? I can't find anything conclusive on what it should be.
See question 2 below

Re: Progesterone question...help please
Okay... I had pcos before I was pregnant and now have low progesterone while pregnant. My awesome doctor put me on prometrium, which is a progesterone supplement, immediately. Thank God! Then I spotted one day and he made me come in and said I had low progesterone... I was also 13 and normal is 20! So he upped my progesterone to 200 mg, which I have to take at night because It makes you tired. Get yourself on a progesterone supplement!!

Re: Progesterone question...help please
as long as your progesterone level is 10 or above, you are in good shape!

Exactly. However, my levels went as low as 6 in the first couple of weeks of pregnancy. I was put on supplements and that number jumped up. Your level sounds ok to me!

thank you girls!! So tomorrow, they should be above 20 correct? And if they are, do I have to go for more tests or am I in good shape?

Re: Progesterone question...help please...now with question 2
progesterone doesn't double like the beta number does. the level can also fluctuate throughout the day. like i said before, as long as your level is above 10, you're fine!
