Prometrium
My doc prescribed Prometrium for 1 month because my progesterone was on the low side....
Did anyone take it and did it help bring the levels back up?..Were there any side effects?

I took this with DS and of the levels came right up. The only thing that happened was that I got sick when I transitioned from my first to second trimester. The doctor then took me off because my levels were fine - that's why I got sick (threw up). I was on hormone overload. I had to take it for over two month though so you should be fine. Otherwise, I felt great.

I took it from week 6 through week 12. I didn't take it orally, I took it as a suppository. I had no side effects except it was a little icky.  My progesterone was fine after that (the baby starts producing it's own progesterone at week 10) and I am now 19 weeks.
