Protein bars for someone with food allergies - help please
Here's my issue: I'm allergic to soy, barley (found in flour) and sesame seeds.
I've been searching for hours for protein bars that are wheat and soy free and google hates me because I'm having no luck.
There are a few vegan bars out there that I've tried but my body reacts poorly to them and they have like 4-9 grams of protein; I'm looking for 15+ grams.
I'm going to Italy for two weeks in June and I'd like to bring some protein bars to have as a snack/breakfast option or to have on the plane just in case I don't get my Paul Pfeiffer meal.
Are there ANY protein bars with 10+ grams of protein that are soy free and wheat free?
Oh, and please don't suggest jerky. I don't eat beef and the 'jerky' process scares me.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Here's a recipe for gluten free granola from glutenfree girls' website:
Granola
I know it's not a protein bar, but this would serve well as an energy snack.

the illusive "super hot and straight male flight attendant" could also be a great source of protein.
good luck with that.

My mother will watch me like a hawk - she thinks that I'm an animal.
I'll look into that M-lo, thanks.

JayRobb sounds yummy, but that's a lot of fat for one bar.
The ANDI bar is looking like it meets my criteria.
Thanks, Zilla!!!!!!
How in the world did you find them? What was I doing wrong in my search?

You're welcome!
I put in: protein bar + no soy barley sesame
I still had to do some sifting, because I found that a lot of them had no soy or barley, but sesame.

Ahhhh, I see what I did. I was doing the 'soy free barley free' search - and getting tons of genisoy products.
Thanks again!
