PSA - Always Lock Your Car!
Be sure you lock your car in your driveway! I usually do but I guess I forgot to the other night coming in with Christmas gifts and my DD. When I went to get into my car with my 9mo old yesterday afternoon, I saw that someone rifled through everything. The glove box and console was open and stuff was thrown around.
Luckily there was no damage and I don't keep valuables in the car except for some loose change that was taken - but I am totally freaked out! The police said they are getting lots of calls about this lately - thieves are targeting unlocked cars and stealing GPS's, loose change, anything of value. LOCK EVERYTHING!

Re: PSA - Always Lock Your Car!
Ugh it's so awful. But even locking it sometimes doesn't work... we had someone break into both of our cars in our driveway a few months ago (and mostly everyone else in our development as well). They were both locked and the neighbors cars were too, they must have fancy tools to pop the locks open.
My PSA is... don't leave ANYTHING in your car!

Re: PSA - Always Lock Your Car!
I am the worst at this I never lock my car anywhere, especially not in my driveway. I don't want to learn a lesson the hard way so I'm gonna start.

Re: PSA - Always Lock Your Car!
I accidentally left my car unlocked last year and someone rifled through my glove compartment. The funny thing is they put all the things neatly on the passenger seat! Be careful and hide your garage remote too. I heard that thieves steal them and then come back and open your garage to try to get into the house.
