Pulling your back out
Has anyone done this? I woke up this morning and i could barely get my head off the pillow but i did. My lower back was hurting so bad i had to take small steps to walk, When i got to work this morning one of the chef's asked me what i did and i told him... He yelled at me because it's from lifting the cambro's at work that is filled with coffee by myself and he said next time ask me to help you... he lent me his back brace today but now the pain is a little tolerable but still hurts... what is the best thing to take for a pulledback?I did not fully pull it out i pulled it out a little. I' hope i'll be able to sleep tonight because last night i could not get comfortable. Thank you, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I second that. It's the only thing that will help you and keep helping you. Your back is out of "place."

Re: Pulling your back out
Go to an orthopedist before you go to the chiro.
First, if it's a new injury and you haven't been to a doctor, most chiros will want you to go to the doctor first. Second, I recommend always seeing an ortho before a chiro. I have a terrible back and I believe in good chiros -- but, I also believe in getting the correct diagnosis from an ortho FIRST.

Re: Pulling your back out
My chiropractor literally saved my life.
This past summer, I threw my back out. I had done it before, but this time, I couldn't stand, couldn't sit, and couldn't walk unassisted. I literally had to stay in bed for 3 weeks until it healed up.
My chiropractor was the one who got me back up and functioning, when everyone else wanted to shoot my spine full of cortisone.
Feel better!!!

Re: Pulling your back out
Thank you everyone, today my back is a little tolerable...Can you recommend me a good chiropractor? I'm in Rockypoint... yesterday my back cracked a little and helped it a little bit, but my back gets this tighteness in my back and also by my shoulder blades it feels like it's in knots...One of the ladies that works in the same building said turn around i want to see something, she took her hand and made a fist and pushed it into my back..O.M.G. Did it hurt!!!! My boss said not to lift anything because she is afraid i'll be out of work.

Re: Pulling your back out
You don't have to take your doctor's prescribed treatment, but you should get a doctor's diagnosis first. A chiro is going to be able to help you much more effectively if you can walk in and say -- "The MRI showed I have a compression fracture in my L4 and L5" (or whatever the case may be) than if you just walk in and say "I threw my back out and it hurts."
