I see a lot of good reviews on the spectra2 on here, although it's not on BRU website. The most popular one is the Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump - On-the-Go Tote. I'm going to add that to my registry. Does anyone else use it? Please give me feedback. Also, what else do I need with it? I didn't add any bottles, nipples, etc. yet. What do you recommend I add? Thank you very much!

I had it and it was fine. It's probably the best one that is sold in stores. Lots of accessories for it. However if I had to choose, I would definitely pick the spectra. It's much more quiet and very gentle in comparison.

Could you send me the link to the spectra one everyone raves about. How do I know what else I need to get? I know nothing about pumps!

I had the Medela Pisa. I used it until DS was 14 months. I did not have any special accessories and it worked fine. Actually I had the battery pack which was useful. I had two pumps: one that I kept at home and one that stayed at work. My coworker had a baby 2 months after me and couldn't BF due to medication she was on, so she gave me her pump. DS used the Medela bottles and nipples. I wouldn't go crazy registering for bottles since your DC might be picky.

I have the pump in style although didn't end up being able to breastfeed with my daughter. However, my sister in law exclusively breastfed all 4 of here for he first year and is still using the pump in style from her first. It's a great pump. I'll also recommend, call your insurance company. 99.9% cover them now. From being on these boards, I think the only insurance that doesn't cover is New York City teachers bc they're grandfathered into old laws.
