Pumping to increase supply?
My supply has taken a hit recently, so I'm trying to pump to increase it again. I'm only getting about a half ounce after pumping now in the morning as opposed to 2 ounces a week ago. I've never been consistent with it but I'm going to have to start because I go back to work part time in September and I need to get a freezer stash going!
Now I'm trying to pump after every feeding for 5 to 10 minutes. I guess I've always been concerned about DS not getting enough if I'm pumping a lot, which is why I didn't start sooner (I had problems with milk coming in late). So now that my milk supply is low and I'm pumping, how long will it take for it to increase? Is this going to deprive my DS at all while I'm pumping? Any help or suggestions would be great! I'm already taking More Milk Plus (which seems to have stopped working) and I'm getting Goat's Rue today.

Re: Pumping to increase supply?
could you be getting your period?
mine took a big hit and still does before it comes in!
I would just keep nursing and pumping. none of those supplements worked for me (my son reacted to fenugreek) but they do work for others.
also, eat more oatmeal!!!!
