Puppy Mills/Pet stores
I will be one to say I am guilty of purchasing a cute adorable puppy from a pet store, and got some flack on this site, me not knowing, so I understood....little did I know what I was contributing to! After being inforned and educated on this site and the Oprah show lol...I would never agin, even though I LOVE Chewie to death! I realize now its not worth it to contrubute to pet stores! No matter HOW cute that puppy is.....
Thx LIW for your post...sorry I hadn't known this 5 years ago...even though Chewie is my baby...u guys know that!

You didn't know. I never did buy from a petstore, but almost did many years ago and I too didn't know. I also learned alot on LIF about puppy mills and am glad I did b/c i spread the word now. And Oprah's show makes me cringe still when I think about it....very upsetting to say the least.

I bought Cindee from a pet store not having a clue about the abuse they go through.. I will NEVER do that again
