Q about Day out with Thomas Event at Strausburg RR
Anyone done this? They offer a merchandise package with tix purchase which has a hat, whistle, etc but it's $26 and I'd need one for each kid.
Did u do this? can u get it elsewhere. It's cute but it's a $$ on top of tix

we didn't do the event, but can you offer to buy each kid 1 item from the gift shop? This way, they get to pick it and you aren't spending an arm and a leg on stuff they will lose the week after...

We did the ride..and my son brought his own toy Thomas train and conductor's hat.that he owned already..lol...

we didnt buy the merchandise pkg. I woudl just get some stuff before hand if you want You can get a train whistle at TRU for $3. And there are tons of shops at the thomas event, we bought DS a bunch of stuff. Plus not far is the Choo Choo barn, and next to that is a store that is ALL thomas stuff! DS still talks about Thomas world and we went 2 years ago!
