Q about the Ductless AC Air Units (Mr. Slims?)

THe Central Air units, that are "ductless", that have a unit in each room, with the compressor outside- Does anyone know how much they typically cost to do an entire house?

depending on how many units (we were looking at 2) and it would have been about $5K.

We have forced air, so adding a central air unitl was the same price. I didn't like the fact I had to keep all the doors open upstairs and I still had something in the wall.

Re: Q about the Ductless AC Air Units (Mr. Slims?)

We have one in DD's room because the way the previous owners installed the central air/heating was really stupid and we couldn't add a new zone or hook her room up to the cxisting zone.

It actually cost us close to $8k just for her room alone when all was said and done. But I believe that is the high end, you can probably get it cheaper.

We were quoted about $7,800 for 2 units - one in the living room and one in the dining room. It would have almost doubled to put an additional one in upstairs in our son's room. Chat Icon Chat Icon
