Q for mommies of babies around 4 months....
Have you all gone to bigger bottles ??
With my DS, we were already using the 8 oz bottles by this age (eating anywhere from 6-8)
My DD is still on the 4 oz'ers , sometimes chugging it and full, other times we have to make another 2 oz right after, sometimes only drinks half.....so I dont want to make 6oz all the time...And she eats every 2-3 hours still ! At night she goes 4-5 thankfully...
Now at her 4 mo. visit on Thursday we are getting the green light for food , this should be interesting

My DD turned 4 months on 4/23. We still use the 4 oz bottles sometimes. First thing in the morning she has 6 oz bottle. Sometimes during the day I know she wont finish a 6 oz bottle, so I make 4 oz and it's perfect. I dont like to throw away formula, and if she wanted more, I'd make more. She would definitely let me know if she were still hungry! But the 4 oz works for her during the day, and her weight is fine. If I look at the clock during the day though, and it's been more than 4 hours since her last bottle, I'll make 6 oz.
My DD sleeps 10-11 hours per night straight usually eating between 4 and 6 oz before bed.
Hope this isn't too confusing!

Thanks!! It sounds absolutely crazy, but I do miss our middle of the night feeding times. I've probably just jinxed myself and she's going to stop sleeping through the night! She's been sleeping like this since 9 weeks.

Thanks!! It sounds absolutely crazy, but I do miss our middle of the night feeding times. I've probably just jinxed myself and she's going to stop sleeping through the night! She's been sleeping like this since 9 weeks.
Yes, I remember feeling that way when DS started sleeping through the night

DD is 4.5 months old and has been chugging away at over 6 oz for someti me now, but DD eats A LOT in general..

DD is one now and just started taking six ounces two months ago. She's a peanut and likes to eat many times throughout the day instead of large meals..

Alexa is 3 months old and has been taking 7-8 oz for a month now. She is super hungry all the time. We are starting cereal tomorrow because she needs it. She takes a bottle every 3 hrs from morning until bedtime. Then she sleeps from 7pm until 7am.

Funny thing si- DD is at the 95% in both height and weight ! She started off on the big side 9-13oz and has continued to remain that way......She likes a lot of small meals I guess- we go through bottles like crazy !!!!
