To go back to the original question I also wanted to state that I wasn't full against guiliani having a position except that he said he WOULDN'T take a position so to go back on that bothers me. I do not want Sarah Palin to have any role, I cannot stand her. She is also unfortunately the only woman I heard mentioned for a role.
If you look at the list on cnn there are actually quite a few women listed.

i love how silent this post is right now.
It's silent because people are tired of being called Racist , misogynistic etc... You ( collective you) do that relentlessly to people for months, don't be surprised when nobody responds anymore. Especially since the election is over and there is no reason to.
It has nothing to do with being afraid, regretting my choice, Trump's latest moves and choices, etc. It's just plain old choice to not respond because I don't feel the need to justify myself or my choices. It does not matter. He won and time will tell now.

Re: Q for Trump People
There is no winning answer to these questions.
If I say YES, I'm so happy with his choices, then I am somehow a racist misogynist homophobe with xenophobic tendencies and hey, throw in a little anti-semitism.
If I say NO, I am not happy with how things are going, then I'm a stupid idiot who was fooled by a con man and you get to say ha ha I told you so.
The real answer is that I don't think any positions have been definitively named yet and honestly I don't know a whole lot about Bannon or some of the other candidates but I have been trying to research them.
Overall, yes I am happy about the way things are going because the Clintons are gone.
The question is set up so that anti-Trump supporters can perpetuate their attacks. So far, I have seen many hateful intolerant comments towards Trump supporters, basically calling them horrible people who should stop posting here. So I have refrained from continuing to comment on most posts because I don't deserve the vitriol.

I respectfully say that I have read a few times here that people say that they haven't had time yet to research bannon. Please do . Even if you find nothing wrong with him and end up loving the guy, please just take a look.

I intend to, definitely, as I'd like to be able to speak intelligently about it. However, it's only been a few days and with 2 jobs and 2 kids I'm pretty much running 24/7. I guess I will need to use some of my LIF time!

The "winning" answer would be NO, because Bannon is so repulsive that anyone who supports him is also repulsive.
But I wouldn't claim you were fooled from this. I would claim "fooled" when it becomes clear that Trump is just as much establishment as anyone else in politics (if it hasn't been made clear already.) That's where the "you got conned" comes in.

Re: Q for Trump People
But when you vote for a guy who taps a white supremacist for a powerful position, you ARE in a bind where you either have to say "Yikes; I regret that choice," or "I still think he'll be great, but that was a bad call," or "Yeah--I am totally cool with white supremacists possessing governmental power."
There are no other choices. Those who are troubled by his choices can't do anything to help that, and staying ignorant about how his administration's shaping up doesn't help either.
There is no vitriol. It's just the truth.
People a lot smarter than most of us on here---from both sides of the political spectrum and aisle have said as much.
He is all of our president elect, and we all have to live with and under his choices. The day that any of us are too afraid to question anything--let alone the tapping of a white supremacist (and raging sexist) or a climate change denier--is the day that we should all consider leaving the country.
We have to act like adults.

Seriously give it a rest. This site has been nothing but people screaming "racist! misogynist! xenophobe!" at Trump supporters for a full week now. Why would anything they have to say even be listened to with an open mind?
And I say this as someone who voted for Hillary. The amount of vitriol being spewed on this website has been staggering, and none of it coming from Trump supporters. I know Long Island is mostly liberal but this is just... sad.
I don't know why these same posters feel the need to bait those who voted for trump. Constantly. Just to pounce on anything that is said
I agree give it a friggin rest already

like his education options I didn't see them originally, cnn had a different list.
eta: I would be happy to see Jared Kushner have a role.

This is what I take issue with. It hasn't been a few days. Bannon has been the CEO of his campaign since the summer. As citizens, we should be looking into the people the presidential candidates surround themselves with in order to make an informed voting decision. To now, after he has been selected for a top WH position, start looking into him makes no sense to me. It's too late.

Trump supporters I said this in another thread but you can't be surprised that people think you are a racist, sexits, bigoist etc because you voted for Trump. Is it right no are you any of those probably not but when you support someone that many feel is all those things what are they to think. Its like that saying you are who you hang out with. You hang out with a a bunch of delinquents people are going to think you are a delinquent. Again true not always is it right to think that no but people do
Instead of getting upset about it and saying you don't have to justify yourself why not just say I don't think Trump is a racist if that's what you believe or say you know what I think he maybe a racist but I am not.
Just ignoring it all doesn't help and I get people constantly calling you out wanting to know how you can support him doesn't help either

It is too late. I am glad to note that he was denounced almost immediately though. It won't make a difference but at least the widespread objection to him has been noted.

Agree 100%.
The amount of disgusting vile things being spewed by the liberal bullies on this website has been mind boggling. Apparently they're only for love peace and light if you agree with them. Disagree and it's all bets off..free rein to bash people. Disgusting.

Funny. I didn't see liberals refer to people as "white normal citizens". I also didn't see liberals question me over my daughter's BI or even bring it up. I also didn't see liberals talk about rounding immigrants up like they're cattle.

You just said a mouthful. For those who couldn't be bothered to inform themselves about what they were doing before they voted--too late for that.
But moving forward, it's never too late to make one's views and opinions informed ones. When people spout off (not above posters-those who have done this)--and proudly maintain how ignorant they have been on the issues and people involved, they look like fools. And they should be judged for that.
Isn't it good (and not "politically correct') to call things what they are? Spouting off opinions while touting how ignorant one is makes one look VERY stupid and reckless.

Q for Trump People
Why bother? I come on here from time to time and peruse the boards and lately these political posts. It's the same 10 posters bashing republicans and patting each other on the back. It's an old, tired act. Why prove myself or raise any topics here, only to be insulted and have zero meaningful conversation. It's like a little, immature junior high clicque.

Oh cry me a river. You know what's really disgusting? The new president who bashes the most vulnerable of us, who you guys are responsible for putting into the White House. The racist, anti woman, xenophobic loose cannon, tiny hands, tiny ego Don. I really don't care what you think of me, how indignant and insulted you get. It doesn't matter. It's not about politics, being "butthurt", liberal vs conservatives, democrats vs republicans. Don is just wrong on so many levels. When my DS cries and is scared for the environment, afraid that his immigrant Latino uncle is going to be deported bc this piece of sh!t narcissist was elected, I will never stop until the day this wrong is made right. Never.

The only person I remember calling anyone a name was when MrsMick called someone an idiot and she's a conservative.
Frankly, some of the conservatives on here jump into posts like rabid dogs, often with tangential comments.
