Question about bd'ing after d&C

How long was everyone told to wait before it was safe to bd again?
I threw out the piece of paper that had that info. on it, and i can't remember what the doctor said.

I had a D&E last year (same thing only slightly different because I was further along) and I was told 2 weeks. I assume it's the same for a D&C.

i think mine said 4 days?

we BD a week afterwards and I felt fine (physically(

for some reason i thought my doctor said 6 weeks, i was probalby wrong. I guess i can call the obgyn find out for sure.

I think it was 2 weeks.

But not to TTC for a full cycle.


We didn't BD until we were TTC again the next cycle. We literally only tried once and I was VERY dry. It wasn't pleasurable at all for me. Wish I knew about preseed then.

2 weeks to make sure things were okay down there kwim? we bd'd shortly after that...but i asked if i needed protection and was told no.

My post op info sheet said nothing in the vagina for 2 weeks

2 weeks...to avoid the risk of infection.
We waited 3 weeks and it was fine.

2 weeks, and we only bd 1x. I waited till after my 1st AF bc I wasnt into it at first.
