question about ceramic tile
hey everyone. when we bought the house we had to redo everything.
we put ceramic tile in the kitchen (although some people call it tumbled marble, but i thought it was ceramic...anyone know the difference?)
anyway...back to the question. in a few years, we are goingt o expand our house, therefore expand the kitchen. i would like to continue the "new" kitchen with the same floor we have now. do you think that the floor will fade? does that happen to tile?
thanks ( :

Re: question about ceramic tile
No idea but I know ceramic tiles can vary in color from one lot to the next. Usually it is recommended to buy extra just for that reason, in case you have to replace some of the tile. Maybe when you expand, you can use a border where the kitchen is added on, and any color difference would not be as noticable.
But I think I would buy the tiles now, you may not be able to find the same ones at a later date...
Maybe like this:
