question about cleaning bottles
since i have to bottle feed today/tomorrow, do i have to sterilize the bottles after each use? how often should i do it?

i use dr browns bottles so they have a lot of parts. but i wash them with hot soapy water after every use and then maybe 2-3x a week i use the microwave sterilizer bag to sterilize all the bottles/nipples and inside parts.
you definitely dont need to sterilize after every use. washing in hot water is fine. I always sterilize them if they are brand new out of the package first.

I always just put them in the dishwasher afer each use.

i wash them in super hot soapy water and then every few days I will sterilize everything. The nurse practitioner at DD Peds office said that was fine.

Just wash in hot soapy water or in your dishwasher & you'll be fine.
Before the first use is the only time I ever sterilized.
