Question about crib mattress for 2nd child
I think that this might be a really silly question but do I need to get a new mattress for my DD who will be here in a few weeks? My DS used the same mattress for the last 2 years and now he's in his bed. I was so crazed about getting him the best and firmest mattress. It still feels hard so I'm thinking it's not necessary. Just curious what everyone thought.

When we bought the mattress the salesperson told us you are supposed to buy a new mattress for each child  Being our mattress is a few hundred dollars and I doubt DS's 30 lb body made a dent in it, we are keeping the same mattress.

I have heard you aren't suppose to reuse it but I used the same one for all 3 of my kids.

I used my DD's mattress for my DS - she was 23 months when he arrived.
