Question about Great Wolfe Lodge
So they are opening one of these in Concord, about 5 minutes from my house in March
can you tell me about it
can I just go there and take miki to the indoor water park?
TIA
Steph

Re: Question about Great Wolfe Lodge
Ohh fun!! It's great there! But, they don't do day passes, at least the one in PA and the one in OH don't. You have to book the room deal.

Re: Question about Great Wolfe Lodge
I was thinking the same thing because I just drove by the Concord one last night. I googeled them and from what I can tell the passes come with the rooms. I hope they have day passes, it seems silly to stay over night when we live so close

Re: Question about Great Wolfe Lodge
My DD had an absolute blast there...it was great! But sadly it's true...you have to do the rooms too...

It's still fun to stay overnight though. They do a storytime by the fireplace each night with "Biko" their mascot bear. They also have a clocktower animated show in the lobby at night. There is a Cub Club for kids to do arts and crafts, etc. A children's spa where they can get ice cream pedicures, an arcade and the Magicquest game (for older kids). It's worth an overnight stay

Re: Question about Great Wolfe Lodge
your ticket for hotel guarantees waterpark access...you have to stay overnight.
(we have a friend over who goes every year)...

I will have a hard time getting DH to agree to spend $300+ for a place around the corner however, you make it sound like it is worth the battle
Maybe one summer for DDs 2nd or 3rd birthday treat. Or, it's probably more fun to go in colder weather when you wouldn't expect to be swimming but can because it is indoors!

Re: Question about Great Wolfe Lodge
Great Wolf is sooooooooo much fun!!! My brother and sil live 5 minutes from the one in PA and just before it opened they sent everyone in the area passes to come for the day and swim for FREE!! I wonder if they will do that in Concord -I think it was a great way to get everyone interested in the place!!

Re: Question about Great Wolfe Lodge
I was bothering the guy at concord mills about it...
I would have to rent a room, then get passes for his friends.
have you tried ray's splash planet yet? cheap toddler days.

Re: Question about Great Wolfe Lodge
Awesome, LOVE LOVE LOVe that place. We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. A little long. 2-3 nights is plenty. Indoor water park is great for all ages, love the game room, DD loved the little show and story time they have a night and SS loved the magiquest game. All around a really great place. Just keep your kids close, it gets crowded!
