Question about potted mums
Can I plant them in the ground late Sept or mid-October?
Or do they just stay in the pot and die once winter hits?
Thanks!

Re: Question about potted mums
I took my Mums from Easter and replanted them outside and now they're spreading and blooming in my garden.

Re: Question about potted mums
If they are hardy mums, they will probably survive the winter like any perennial and come back in the spring.

Re: Question about potted mums
Ditto what everyone else said, but I do think you need to prune them and deadhead the flowers regularly to keep them in such a nice shape.

Re: Question about potted mums
I had these mums in a planter and they were dead! My mom planted them as a joke to me and guess what they came back this year and have beautiful blooms. So plant them..this is a very hardy plant.
