Question abt the Level II if you are team green
I have my level II scheduled for next friday. Since we're team green, I'm curious about how it will go and if they will skip doing some of the things they normally do so that we dont' see 'the goods.'
would love to hear from other team greeners what your level IIs were like.

Liz, I am not Team Green, but Miss Bean was ultra stubborn and we found out at 16 weeks anyway, so I can answer.
They will tell you to look away if they are scanning genitals and they may ask if you want to know, and you can tell them no. Trust me, unless you are a sono tech and know what you are looking at, you probably won't know!
They get all of the measurements anyway. The purpose of the scan is not to find out the sex but to measure various anatomical structures. They will never skip anything because a couple doesn't want to find out the sex (which again is not important to them-it is just a bonus to those who want to know). They will faster ask you to look away because they need all of the measurements.
They got all of the measurements on mine and I didn't see a thing because I have a stubborn kid.

Just ask them to tell you to look away when they are looking at the genitals.
Like the PP said, they will not skip anything because this is an anatomy scan to make sure everything is growing properly.

I'm team green but the lady had the screen turned towards her the whole time so I barely got to see anything. My DH was looking the whole time and said he thought he saw a sac, lol, but he has not clue what he's looking at. She must have seen though because she asked again at the end if we wanted to know. Just make sure they know in the beginning and you'll be fine!!! It's so exciting being team green!

I had my level II done at St Charles by a high risk sonographer (Is that what you call them??  ) It was an hour long and they had a lot of measurements to take. I watched the whole time and still have no idea, I couldn't really tell what I was looking at. He would point things out for us, but obviously not the sex, bc we told him we didn't want to know.

We just made sure again to tell them we didn't want to know and she had us shut our eyes just in case in certain parts - even though, like PPs have said, you can't really tell.

when I went for my level 2 as soon as I walked in I told them we were not finding out the sex so when they got to the potty shot they asked us to turn our heads from the screen. But they will not skip parts because we are team green they are going to check to make sure everything is ok
