Team Green... Question for you
Do you have a lot for your baby already? I feel so unprepared. I have a few oneies, some blankets and a few sweaters my grandmother made for the baby.
I feel like this baby is going to be born and not have anything
We have his/her furniture but that's really it.
Anyone eles feeling like they have nothing?

Re: Team Green... Question for you
Did you have your shower yet? If not dont worry, you will get some unisex layettes then, and then once the baby is born you will be surprised how geneous people will be and im sure you will get lots of outfits. I felt like you did for a while when I was pregnant, once I had my shower I felt much more prepared..and then after dd was born i dont think i had to buy outfits for months! i was actually bummed bc i wanted to buy girl clothes now that i knew but i didnt need anything lol.

Re: Team Green... Question for you
We haven't bought any clothes yet, all we have is a onsie my sister brought back from her trip.
We are still in the process of registering, I'm sure I will start buying things in the next month, once I've finished all the big things on the registry.

Re: Team Green... Question for you
We don;t really have too much yet. A couple of outfits we bought (one's a christmas outfit we got on clearance) and then a few onesies and stuff as gifts. I am trying not to buy too much - figuring we'll probably get a lot at the shower and then can supplement what we think we will need. I'm trying not to go too crazy- probably a really good reason to stay Team Green!

Re: Team Green... Question for you
I have bought nothing! not even a onesie!?!!? I am kindof surprised at myself...
I have a bag of gender neutral clothes from my BF... and a breast pump... and a stroller....
Nursery is painted, and furniture is ordered.... maybe once that arrives I will start spending :)

Re: Team Green... Question for you
As far as clothing, I had a lot of onesies, a few hats and no scrath mittens, a decent amount of newborn sleeper outfits and some 0-3 month outfits. Once DS was born, my mom went out and bought a bunch of boy clothes. We also got a lot of clothing as gifts. I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure you have the basics and you'll get plenty of stuff after DC is born.

Re: Team Green... Question for you
don't worry about it, you'll get gifts
my DS is 3 months old and all I've had to buy are some onesies since he grew out of them or I shrunk a bunch.
plus my DS was born almost 9 lbs so NB size would never even have fit.

Re: Team Green... Question for you
nope, we have nothing, but then again I'm Jewish and not bringing anything into the home till the baby is here. We have onsies, the carseat, stroller and bassinet all ready, but that's all. Oh, and the room is painted green

Re: Team Green... Question for you
Um...nothing?
Actually- I have a hamper and a piggy bank that were way too adorable for me to pass up! I know my sister has bought a lot of stuff () but beyond that we've got nada. I haven't registered, picked out furniture- nada!
I better get on this stuff soon

Re: Team Green... Question for you
With ds I didn't have anything until my shower. I got a lot of green/yellow that I will be able to reuse for this baby.

Re: Team Green... Question for you
Did not have a shower yet so I really only have a few gifts of outfits, blankets, free sample bottles, cases of diapers from my mom. Just only starting the nursery so I'm not thinking of what I have. Do not really buy things myself but will assess and get what I need after my shower.
