question for frequent ebayers
If you bid on something and are the high bidder, but it does not meet the reserve price are you on the hook for the item at the price you bid (if the seller contacts you and says they are willing to sell for what you bid)? Just curious.

they can send you a second chance offer at your bid amount- but you don't have too buy it

thanks - just curious bc i was thinking of bidding on a similar item from another seller, but didn't want to do it if i'd end up with both. thx again!
