Question for ladies who have done IUI's...UPDATE!!!

How did you go about it? Like what cycle days did you go in for sono's or start any drugs (i.e. Clomid)? Just any info on the process you went through would be really helpful. I would like to compare what my Dr's are doing to others.

UPDATE #1...This is what my last few months have been.........

January 16th - CD1
start clomid 50mg on CD5
OPKs CD12-22 all negative
CD23 - false positive, proven after a sono on CD25
CD34 - start Provera

CD1 Feb 26
CD3 sono and blood start clomid 100mg.
Now at CD16 still no

UPDATE #2
On Saturday I got my !
I called the Dr. and last night I went in for my IUI. I am very nervous and super excited at the same time. Very crampy today though. Dr's said that everything looked good...so now it is just the waiting game...
Please say a little prayer for me!

lets see....
this past cycle I took letrozole (like clomid) on CD's 4-8. I went to the doc for a sonogram on CD 11 and had a trigger shot that night. On CD12 and CD13 I had the IUIs.

Prior to this past one I did Clomid on days 3-7 and monitored with the digital ovulation tests.. once I got a smiley I went in for a sonogram- once I did an IUI the same day, once I did an IUI the next day.. both were not successful and at a regular OB/GYN's office- after those two, I went to see Braverman.

I've done 3 with clomid. CD3 testing - blood work and sono. Then take clomid. Back around CD 10 for blood work and sono - then Ovidrel trigger shot - then iui is scheduled. My doc is willing to do a total of 6 iuis with clomid before moving on. Hope that helps and good luck to you!!

Here's what my first injects/IUI cycle looked like:

Baseline U/S
Started 75 IU Gonal F on CD 1.
CD 4 - b/w
CD 5 - u/s and b/w
CD 8 - increased to 112.5 IU Gonal F; b/w and u/s
CD 11 - b/w and u/s
CD 12 - started Cetrotide
CD 13 - b/w and u/s
CD 14 - trigger (ovidrel)
CD 15 - IUI

I am on my 3rd IUI cycle with injectables.

I started Gonal-f on CD 3/4.
B/w and sono cd 8
b/w sono CD 10 and started ganirelix
b/w and sono CD 13
Ovidrel trigger @ midnight.
IUI CD 16 in the morning.

I did a clomid/iui

CD3- b/w- sono
CD3-7- clomid
CD10- sono (saw mature follies) trigger
CD11- iui

I took clomid days 4-8, did the iUI on day 13. i will say that this was through my GYN and not a specialist. they didnt take any blood or check for follicles..nothing. it was poorly timed b/c i didnt ovulate until day 16. so i have no idea if the IUI or BD worked b/c we BD on day 15 right before Otime.

I think the clomid though was the mitigating factor..my ovaries felt like they were on crack.

CD13 sono, IUI
CD14 IUI

From talking to others on here, I've seen that each dr is so different in how they proceed! It's so interesting!

I just did a Injectables + IUI cycle:

CD3- BW and sono,
start 75ml. of gonal-f that night
CD4- CD11- 75ml gonal-f and BW and sono every other day
CD12 and CD 13- 115ml gonal-f
CD14- BW and sono, trigger that night
CD16- IUI 36 hours after trigger

I had 2 good follies and alot more smaller ones.

I had my first IUI last mth.

*Clomid CD5-9.
*Sonogram CD11.
*Monitored my ovulation withCBFM - when I saw the egg I went in the next day for the IUI.

I can't sleep...

I was so hoping to do an IUI this month...Dr said to wait till I got my , then call, come in for sono and then depending on the looks of the sono either BD like rabbits on our own and do the IUI, or get the shot and do an IUI.

I am so scared that I will not get a positive OPK and I'm going to have to go on more meds. I am like S a t i n's EVIL twin on Clomid, and my DH is great dealing with me. I have Saturday and Sunday to get a surge and if it doesn't happen I am just dreading Provera again, and the clomid again.

I asked for your stats ladies because I was hoping there was someone similar to me, but their wasn't. I'm really praying Sat or Sun will bring my ...otherwise, I feel so bad for my co-workers and my DH.
