Question for moms of potty trained boys . . .
So Nick has been potty trained since July. Knows when he has to go and goes, no problem.
What he has been doing recently, is waiting until the very last second to go and dripping a little in his underwear, where it has to be changed. I think he's just being lazy and/or distracted by whatever he's doing. But it's getting ridiculous to have to change his underwear so much.
I'm constantly on him, Do you have to go, so I can get him to recognize it before it's too late. I also told him "Mr. Incredible" doesn't like to be wet. That works sometimes.
Any other tips on how to get him not to have those last minute accidents? I hate to even call them accidents, because he's going to the bathroom, it's just that little bit that comes out before.
And a funny, he was wearing his favorite Incredibles underwear, when my babysitter got in the car, he goes "Hey Laura, I got Mr. Incredible in my pants!"

DS used to do this too. Aside from reminding him to go regularly, I think it's something they kind of have to grow out of. DS is 4 now and he only recently stopped doing that.
And how funny that he has Mr. Incredible in his pants!!
LOL

Re: Question for moms of potty trained boys . . .
DS has been trained for almost 10months now and we deal with this here/there. We just recently went through this. I stopped changing his underwear and told him he does not get new underwear everytime he does this. He started saying "oops now I need new undies". I think he thought it was a game so I had to put that to an end. I started having him pick which undies he wanted to wear that day and remind him that whichever ones he picked he had to keep dry.
I also remind him to keep his undies dry instead of do you have to go to the bathroom. And his is because of laziness and also that he doesn't want to leave his toys. I tell him to tell his toys "hold on i'll be right back" and that when he gets back the toys will be there waiting for him.
This has worked for me...good luck!

Sorry, I have no advice since we are just starting to introduce the potty to DS and I figured I'd check this post out for help as we progress, but this
