Question for Moms who tore during delivery
How long did it take you to heal? DS is a week old and I am feeling better each day but I still am very sore. I was just curious as to how long it took everyone to heal.

It took about 2 wks before I could walk and sit normal and around the 4wk mark I started to feel back to my old self again.

I agree - but even though they gave me the thumbs up at 6 weeks to have s ex, it was really sore until about 10 weeks pp

I was very sore for the first couple weeks. It did get a little better everyday though.
I still felt different down there for several weeks PP, probably until about 10 weeks.

same here.. and the first time with sex afterwards  not to scare but it freakin hurt (sorry tmi )

Yes true here too even though I felt totally healed by my pp visit when we did the deed for the first few times it was not very pleasnt.

I tore a tiny little bit with my second. By 2 weeks pp, I felt back to myself and finally stopped using the peri bottle!

I had tearing, it didnt hurt too much, but offically i think it took about 2 weeks or so to offically heal. I kept spraying with that numbing stuff the hospital gave me.

with my first it took a good month before I wasn't in dire pain anymore...
with the 2nd, it barely hurt at all, strange...

I tore A LOT...it seemed like the dr was stitching me up FOREVER!! I think I felt healed in about 3-4 weeks, but at my 6 week checkup, the dr said I wasn't even totally healed yet!! (Even though I felt like I was).
