Question for those who bathe DC in the regular tub

I want to start bathing DD in the regular tub. What do you clean the tub with? I usually use Comet with bleach and I imagine that some of the cleaner would still be left behind & end up in DD's bath water. She puts all of her bath toys in her mouth and of course some water too. What's a safe cleaner that would still do a great job on the tub? TIA

I still use all of my regular cleaners (soft soap, scrubbing bubbles, tilex) and just make sure I swish water around the tub lots of times.

Bon Ami.

It's old school so not every store carries it.
It's a non-toxic, non scratching cleanser. No fumes.
It can also be used on glass shower doors.

From a website:

Bon Ami, available in most mainstream grocery stores, is free of chlorine, perfumes and dyes. And it's been around since 1887. Its only ingredient is calcium carbonate. Their trademarked slogan reads: "When you need a little muscle but want a soft touch." A baby chick is their symbol because chicks do not scratch for food for two or three days after hatching and Bon Ami will not scratch hard surfaces.

I also use this, as well as Method Tub and Tile Cleaner.

I have been using Seventh Generation tub and Tile for a while now, but I think I will give Bon Ami a shot! Chat Icon

I clean the tub once a week but before each bath, I wipe down the tub with Clorox wipes and then rinse.
