Question re booking newborn photo sessions
So I know you have to book way early with some of these photographers.
My question is- how do you do it?
Do you tell them your due date and they book you tentatively?
How does that work when you really have no idea exactly when the baby will arrive, how long you'll be in the hospital, etc?

I contacted Avajack back in July I am due anyday now...I emailed her my due date and asked her the very ?s you posted.
She emailed me back the next day (which i loved) and told me she has penciled me in her book, i didnt need to leave any deposit to hold the date..she told me to contact her after i have the baby, and she will come to my house 5 to 7 days after my  is born.. she said if I have a c section she know the recovery time is a little longer and will work with me...I feel in love with her work and than her ...if you are interested in prices you can fm me

I booked with summerlyn a long time ago also...she just writes down the due date and you call her when u have the baby

That's what I thought but I was just wondering how they planned for you so far in advance.

I contacted Lexi Bella Photography around the time I came out to everyone (after 12 weeks). She has my due date and we'll schedule her to come to me after the baby's birth.
