question re: rhogam shot
So my doctor gave me a prescription to get the shot and then I am supposed to bring it in for him to administer it.
Did anyone else have to do it this way? Where were you able to get it filled?
I just called Duane Reade and none of them have it nor can then order it.
Before I start calling every pharmacy I thought I'd ask here

Crashing here...
I had to pick up the shot and bring it to my dr. also. I called around and eventually had to order it. I wound up getting it from a CVS.

...it is very common to do it this way...try calling CVS or Walgreens...or try pharmacies that are close to hospitals as they tend to have a greater stock of all meds.

i had mine filled at CVS where i normally have my prescriptions filled. they told me to keep it in the fridge until my doctors appt. i brought it in with an icepack when my doc appt came around. can you call your OB and ask if they can call it in for you? maybe they know of a place that can fill it?

I called everywhere last time and finally I found a Pharmacy in Stony Brook (I'm in Huntington!). Maybe this one, I'll look around to closer places by hospitals.
