question regarding NT scan/bloodwork
Is the bloodwork for the NT a regular blood draw from the arm or is it a finger prick?

It's a finger prick- they'll take several drops.

For me it was a regular blood draw. I guess it depends on the OB.

For me it was a finger prick and then the second optional part (done at 16ish weeks) for spina bifida was a regular blood draw at a lab.

Finger prick was done for me too, then there was a second round of blood work where it was a regular blood draw at around 18/19 weeks - my schedule of appointments wasn't in line with what normally happens, though, because I went in earlier than the usual patient for my first visit.

I had the finger prick at both 12 and 16 wks for the NT Screening....
After my first appt at 8 wks I had a full blood panel drawn and reviews results at 12 wk appt
