Re: Quick & easy tomato sauce recipe, please!
are you looking for fresh tomato sauce or canned sauce and then you add stuff?
For quick days I do:
1- Catadina puree big can 1- Catadina crushed big can 1- Catadina tomato sauce (med size) 2- Catadina tomato paste (little cans) Fresh Garlic Fresh Onion Basil Parsley Oregano Gravy master Salt/pepper/ hot pepper powder some more garlic and onion powder Sprinkle in mozzerella cheese, and parmesian
First I roast garlic and onion then Ill add some sorta meat.. pork/steak/chopped what evers around.. let that simmer a bit, then add in all other ingredients and then bring to boil and then once boils i let simmer for a couple of hours while stirring occasionally.

Re: Quick & easy tomato sauce recipe, please!
I make a simple sauce, but it's pretty good-it's not from fresh tomatoes though:
4 large cans sauce 1 cup grated parm cheese A sprinkle of basil 1 glove garlic 1 bay leaf (sometimes I just through dried basil in the pot instead). meatballs Italian sausage
The meatballs I makes as follows: 1 pound ground beef 1 egg 1/2 cup grates parm cheese 1 glove garlic A little milk
I brown the meatballs and the Italian Sausage and then I throw everything in a crock pot for 4 hours or so. The Italian Sausage and the meatballs are what give the sauce a little extra flavor.

This is probably too late...but there is a good recipe on italianchef.com, I use the sauce from their spaghetti and meatballs recipe and then Rachel Rays mini-meatball soup meatballs (not mini though)
