The only thing we do with salmon, besides putting it on salad, is broiling it with lots of lemon, salt & pepper. And I love to add lots of fresh dill too.

You can also try Soy Vey on it! Taste yummy!
Yes, you do have to defrost it. But, it shouldn't take long to thaw. And depending how you like your salmon cooked, it is usually made in minutes.

You don't have to defrost it. Just place it in a baking dish, cover with honey and some chopped nuts, and bake until the fish is opaque and flaky when touched.

Re: Need quick easy salmon recipe please
I make a marinade of soy sauce, minced garlic, julienned ginger, a bit of olive oil and lemon juice. I pour that over the fish and chop fresh scallions all over the top. Let it sit in the fridge up to 2 hours and then bake it for about 15 minutes. It's awesome.
I don't know about frozen fish though. Sorry!

I tried this tonight and it was great! Thanks for the recipe. I BBQed it and I used a fish called Barramundi (local fish which is a white flaky fish). Really good! Do you think I could marinate it for longer than 2 hours? Say overnight?

This is a modified version of Phillipino adobo and I use it on EVERYTHING.
You can marinate as long as the meat will tolerate it. Some fish won't do well overnight - but salmon would probably be fine.
I have also done steak (add a little sugar, reduce/eliminate the lemon and increase the garlic), pork and chicken. All of those meats I marinate overnight!
I am glad you liked it! It's my standby!

Yes, defrost it first. I just put a little olive oil, salt and pepper on each side and bake it in a glass dish on 350 for 15-30 minutes depending on thickness.
