quick help please on corned beef in crockpot
I have to make a corned beef today but cant stay in house for 3 hrs to make...I also havent gone to the supermarket yet for the cabbage potatoes and carrots but I wanted to start the corned beef...Do you think I can just do the corned beef in crockpot and do the potatoes cabbage and carrots on the stove top...How would I cook the corned beef in crockpot??? then how should I cook the vegetable and potatoes seperate??

You definitely can. I've done it before and it comes out just fine. I usually put the corned beef in with the "pickling spice packet" and a bottle/can of guinness and a little water and just let it cook on low all day.

LOVE corned beef in the crock pot!! I put it in with cabbage, a beer, and the little packet that they give you. Delicious and tender!
