Radiant heat or blower?
Our master bathroom gets extremely cold in the winter - last year our toilet actually froze a few times! We are trying to decide between radiant heated floor or a large blower. Anyone have any recommendations?
Pros to the floor is that it will maintain the heat well whereas the blower will need to be turned on a few minutes ahead of time. But it is a lot more money and a much bigger project.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Re: Radiant heat or blower?
I have radiant heat in my kitchen and both bathrooms. I highly recommend it. This past winter we kept them set and they really helped hold the heat in the house. We wouldn't have to turn the heat on during the day and still came in to a warm house at night.
I also love my feet not freezing getting in and out of the shower or having to use the bathroom in the middle of the night!

Radiant heat or blower?
We have only radiant in our bathroom and it works wonderfully. We had no room to put a baseboard so that was the best option. Not to mention, who doesn't love a toasty floor getting in and out of the shower in the morning!

We have radiant in our kitchen and bathroom. Works great. Also, blowers are dry heat and you might be sensitive to that.

this is what we have in our basement bathroom. Works great too. We have it hooked to a thermostat and really didn't affect the electric bill at all.
