I really LOVE Gorgonazola...I mean LOVE it to me the more potent in smell the better tasting as far as this cheese goes...lol Slap it on some semolina bread and pure heaven for me.
I also love PARMIGIANO-REGGIANO...my mother is from the region of Parma - this has always been a staple at our house growing up...
A few others that I enjoy

Ok so I like cheese...the best meal for me is an assortment of cheses, great bread, anti pasta condiments like olives, dried salami, mortadella & good wine and you're good to go

Where is your mother from?? Mh DH's mother is from Albaretto.
I love all cheese. Especially friorlano (sp?), parmigiano from Italy only (my MIL brings it back for me  ), blue cheese and gargonzola!!! Yum!
