RAYMOUR and FLANNIGAN .. RANT!
I ordered my couch, love seat chair and ottoman from R&F on Sept 27th. They delievered Oct 1. I had to wait from 12-4 for them to arrive at 4:30. My chair and ottoman came in damaged and my chair came in with the wrong colored feet. I had them leave it because the delivery men told me to do that.
I called several times telling them of the damage and of the wrong feet. Finally they told me Nov 8th they would come (over a MONTH later) to have a repair guy come. I told them that i needed them to bring the correct colored feet.
Nov 8th comes waited from 10 -2 for him to come after 2. The repair man tells me he cant fix the rips and that he would tell them i need a new chair and ottoman. Fine! But where are the new feet? He didnt bring them. I call and they say that they only send someone to come and LOOK at it and then they order what thet need. Now im PO because what if he could have fixed my pieces? I still would have waited for the correct feet. They should of had him bring them!!!! I told them they need to come Nov 10 to deliver the new pieces because i am off from work
They told me between 12-4 they arrive today at 4:30. They bring the new chair and ottoman. the new chair was ripped and the ottoman wobbled. They say they have to take back the pieces they brought today. So i ask can you at least change out the feet so while I wait for the new pieces I at least have the feel the correct color because it really is an eyesore and the rips arent as noticable as the feet. They tell me NO because its a different item!
Now they are saying they will deliver the pieces Nov 22... almost 2 months from my oringinal delivery. Im really getting frustrated!!!!! Im calling tomorrow to talk to a supervisor.
I really dont think its fair that Ive had to be inconvienced nearly 2 months, have my chair with the wrong feet and had to waste 1/2 of my day waiting for them to come 2 times so far (not including original delivery date) and now a 3rd time for the new pieces to come again!

Call and write a letter....in your letter explain that you will never order from them again and that this was an inconvenience for you... i did that twice to delta and american airlines when i had problems with flights..well they send me vouchers...maybe they will credit it you money... good luck!!

That was my exact same experience with Jennifer Leather. It took 10 months for me to have the non ripped or scratched sofa.
I hope you have a quicker resolution.
Send an official letter or email to their corporate. Keep track of who you talk to, what time and day.
ETA: Oh and I threat them to go to the Attorney General. I should have done that from the begnning.

thanks I am definetly calling the suppervisor tomorrow! Writing a letter is a great idea too.. I may do that!
I just think its so ridiculous that they do this to people. When they do deliever the new pieces Im telling them they need to be there at 10AM I REFUSE to wait around all day 1 more day!!!!

Sorry to hear that we have never had any problems with the one in Famingdale. Its actually the only place I got to for furniture now.

sorry to hear about all of your problems. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. The one thing the sales woman in the store did tell me was DO NOT accept any piece that is damaged in any way......it is harder to get repaired or placed easier if you just refuse it.
Good luck with getting this resolved!

That really stinks... I'm sorry!!! You should NEVER accept a piece of damaged merchandise.. I would have had them load it back up. I hope this gets resolved!

I had a similar experience with Bobs furniture and I was so fustrated I called and complained like a crazy person and they refunded my 180.00 deilvery fee- If I were you I would see if they can do that for you. Good luck!

Oh no! They refused to give a discount for the inconvenience. AND I had to pay for the sofa even if I did not have it since I purchased it on their CC.
Trust me! Their Corporate did not care either. But they are notirious for the worst quality records and giving you the run around.
