Real Quick Tipping ??
I dont tip the Sears repair man who is coming to fix (and when I say fix, clean out the filter) my washing machine do I? I have a service contract (if not I would be out $$$$ because the darn filter keeps clogging but thats a whole nother story)

Nope. You already paid for that service and he's getting paid to do that for you. Unless he does something out of ordinary, then NOPE.

Re: Real Quick Tipping ??
They have been here 5 times in the past 2 years to fix the same thing. I wish they would show me how to fix it cause no washing machine w 3 kids for 10 days is insanity!!

Re: Real Quick Tipping ??
personally, i always tip repairmen- contract or not. It's not like they're getting a % of the $ that you pay out for a service contract--- just their salary. Plus I always feel like if there's a problem in the future and the same person comes back that they'll go the extra mile in the long run (which has happened to me before--- they've exchanged parts and not charged me when I know they should've on jobs w/o service contracts). I don't think you HAVE to, but I always do anyway- that $ goes to them, not back to their company.
