Realtor/Apartment listing question
Once you sign with a Realtor to list an apartment are you able to show it on your own?
If so, What happens if you find a renter while showing it on your own?

Re: Realtor/Apartment listing question
I imagine it would depend on the contract you sign with the realtor. If you give them exclusive rights to rent the apt then that's that if not you can rent it on your own.

I hate to say it...but I have no idea...I don't do rentals!
but I would guess that if you signed something- the Realtor is entitled to the comission
which is paid by the renter- not the landlord- so you have nothing to lose by allowing the realtor to do what you hired them for and get the apartment rented to suitable tennant -

Re: Realtor/Apartment listing question
It depends on the type of contract you sign. You can request the option to rent it on your own. Just make sure that everything is in writing.
